Until the last quarter of 2006, Warnex was also focused on the research, development, production and distribution of DNA-based quality control products for the agri-food industry. The Company decided to divest of this business since it required a global distribution platform, a wider product offering and additional funding to achieve its full commercial potential. The assets of this division were sold, effective June 28, 2007.
Warnex was founded on and remains committed to a business philosophy that reduces risk while building long-term shareholder value. Our goal is to grow our laboratory services divisions both organically and through acquisitions. Our analytical, bioanalytical and medical laboratory divisions have generated a strong 5-year compound annual revenue growth rate of 31% along with ongoing profitability.
The Company’s shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol WNX.
